Children’s Mental Health Week

This week, we have been enjoying taking part in Mental Health Week. The children have really enjoyed the week, following the theme of ‘Let’s Connect’. This morning, all children took part in a human circle to remind ourselves of how important it is to connect with each other.

For more information on how to support your child’s mental health and wellbeing, please see the following image.

Family Concert

Are you free on Saturday afternoon? The Coventry City of Culture Orchestra are holding a family concert at Coventry Central Hall starting at 3pm on Saturday 21st January. Tickets are free to children under 12 and £7 for adults. Please click here for more details.

Make sure to arrive to Central Hall early, as we are also going to be supported by the fantastic Coventry Music service, who will not only showcase one of their ensembles during our concert, but will also be bringing some musical instruments (and tutors!) for the next generation of musicians to try before our concert starts. They will be in the main hall from 1:45-2:45pm before our concert starts.

Virtual Family Hub

It is important that families know where to go and get help. We know that where to start or what to ask for can sometimes be a challenge. Coventry City Council have developed the Virtual Family Hub to give you a range of different types of resources that are available to you online, on the phone or face to face that you can access directly yourself. Dol-y-Moch – Day 2

What a fantastic day! The children made some wonderful memories today. They walked up to and spent time in an old Welsh slate mine.

Energy Awareness Session

This year our school will be supporting Mission Christmas with Free Radio
All we ask is you donate a new gift to help ensure every child in Coventry receives a present on Christmas day.
If you can donate a gift,  please send it in with your child and we’ll make a display in the reception area.
